Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan
Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan is a seaside summer palace that was meant for Rama VI (King Vajiravudh) in 1923 in order to provide a soothing and relaxing environment to recuperate from rheumatoid arthritis. The architect designed the palace to be as open as possible, maximising air circulation as well as creating more places to admire the sea. This results in an interlinked series of teak houses with a simple and elegant interior that charms every visitor who visits it. While touring the former royal residence, you will realise that the palace is connected by elevated airy walkways which are designed to catch the sea breeze from all directions. As one the most popular tourist destination in Hua Hin, it will be a waste if you don't drop by to experience what it like is to live like a royalty.
